We use a variety of tools to keep you informed:
Parent-Teacher Conferences – Teachers regularly inform parents about academics, behavior, and school activities through telephone conferences, emails, text messages, and face-to-face conferences.
Facebook – Please “like” our school Facebook page, Putnam Academy of Arts and Sciences, to receive alerts for the latest posts.
News
We appreciate our involved parents and community members, and we are committed to providing you with regular news and information. Here on our News page, we will chronicle school activities and student achievements and publish announcements. We’ll also offer helpful resources and information.
Early Release Day
PAAS and PJSHS will be dismissed early on Tuesday, September 10 at 12:15 p.m.
Hispanic Heritage Month
We look forward to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 through October 15.
Open House
Join us for Open House on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Schedule Pick Up
Students may stop by Putnam Academy of Arts and Sciences to get their class schedule and meet their teachers on Thursday, August 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Locations
Morning drop off is now located on the south side (Kennedy Street) of the building.
Metal Detector
To enhance safety measures, a metal detector has been installed at the main school entrance.
Cell Phones
Student must turn in their cell phones at the beginning of each class period.
Fighting
If a student gets into one fight, we will schedule a tribunal hearing to determine continued enrollment at Putnam Academy of Arts and Sciences.
